|Welcome to the Tallahassee Rowing Club!|
|The Tallahassee Rowing Club is a non-profit rowing club for adults in
the Tallahassee area. Our mission is to promote the sport of rowing. Some of our members row for recreation,
while others compete in rowing events throughout the United States, Canada, and around the world. Club members
range in age from 20 to over 70. We row in a beautiful setting on Lake Hall in Maclay Gardens State Park.
The club owns a variety of rowing shells, including singles, doubles, quads, 4+'s, and 8+'s.
We row all year long and are can be seen often weekend mornings and many weekday mornings and evenings on Lake Hall in Maclay Gardens.

|New Rower Training|
|New rowers are always welcome, no experience necessary! We provide both group and individual lessons several times during the year. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.|
|TRC participated a few major spring races in spring/summer 2013 season.|
|Southeast Regionals was in mid-June in Aiken, South Carolina. TRC put together 12 entries ranging from singles, to mixed 8s. The Mixed 8 took first as the the w4x, and LW 1x. The men's, women's and two mixed doubles took second. THe mixed quad and women's four took thrid and the men's quad and mixed quad finished fouth. Congratulations to all those who competed.|
|TRC participated in three major head races during the 2012 fall season.|
|The First Coast Regatta was October 13 in Jacksonville. TRC entered a women's 8+, men's 8+, women's 4+, and men's 4+. The women's 8+ brought home the gold and the men's 4+ the silver for a respectable performance.|
|The Head of the Charles in Boston was the next regatta for TRC with entries in the women's 4+ and men's 4+. Performances were strong and in the second third of all entries for their respective events.|
|The final head race for TRC was the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga November 3-4. TRC had several entries in this regatta, including women's 8+, men's 8+, men's 4+, mixed 4x, mixed 2xs, men's 2x, and two women 4xs. In addition, TRC organized two mixed 8+s as composites with rowers from California, Oregon, Atlanta, and Tallahasseee participating. The men's 8+ and the men's 4+ brought home silver in 2012. One of the mixed 8+s finished 4th which was also impressive in a field of 17 entries from around the country.|
